1972-74 50,000 Lire from Italy, Banca d'Italia. Pick number 99c and serial number P180711B. Graded 67 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) Superb Gem Uncirculated by PMG. In the years we have been selling World Paper Money there are notes so desirable seemingly we get a call every week asking do we have a Leo note featuring Madonna in high grade. Sadly the answer is always “not today”. Today yes we do. The Italian culture was never paper money collectors and in 1967-1974 when these notes were printed in honor of the famed artist 50,000 Lire was a lot of money. It still is a lot of money today. Few survived. Once the world market realized the increasing numismatic value in high grade, the note was immediately bought up in XF and AU by the note doctors and they began washing, pressing, and bleaching as many Leo notes as they could find to fool the public. You may consider $65.00 which includes up to 30 notes - with over 30 notes the cost will increase 0.50 cents extra per note.

Or we can also still ship Registered insured mail at $33.25 with 0.50 cent extra per note.

 Express international mail is much faster taking only approximately 10-14 days and registered insured mail takes 30-60 days. You pay double the price for Express but the time is twice as fast. Both services are fully insured.

Both methods are exact cost at the United States Post Offices and are fully 100 percent insured.
