1890 $10 Treasury Note Large Brown Seal, FR# 366 displaying signatures of Rosecrans and Huston, showing serial number A2027213 and plate number A12/12. Graded 40 Extremely Fine by PCGS. Fewer than a hundred examples of this note are known. This rare ornate-back Ten is a tough note to find. Ten dollar Treasury or "Coin Notes" were issued and given for government purchases of silver bullion from the silver mining industry. The note features a portrait of General Philip Sheridan.
