1993 10 Nouveaux Makuta from Zaire. Banque du Zaire. Pick number 49 and serial number A4409290A. Graded 66 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) Gem Uncirculated by PMG. Population one finest known according to PMG Population Report. Beautiful banknote that brigs in its designs African elements such as Flora, Elephant tusk and Leopard embellishing the note. With bright vivid colors, fresh original paper and lovely eye appeal this note will not last long. Serial number located in the front of the note! 24.6.1993. Green on multicolor underprint. Mobutu in military dress at right, arms at lower right, leopard at lower left. Back: Factory, pyramids at center, flora and elephant tusks at left. Watermark: Mobutu. Printer: HdMZ (CdM-A). p50 not assigned. Issue: Regular Issue. Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu Wa Za Banga was the military dictator and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 1965 to 1997. He also served as Chairperson of the Organisation of African Unity in 1967–1968.
